Pickled Cayenne Pepper & Roasted Garlic Sourdough

With a massive amount of Cayenne peppers this year, we decided to harvest and pickle most of them while still green to be able to preserve them before the first frost hit in the Similkameen. Green Cayenne peppers pickle very well, and have a full robust heat.

Always experimenting with new flavors, we thought that Pickled Cayenne pepper and Roasted Garlic sourdough would be a good combo, turned out great with a touch of heat but not overpowering.

This loaf is based on our Similkameen sourdough recipe with a head of Roasted Garlic and a quarter cup of Pickled Cayenne peppers added.
